by Tyler Durden Wednesday, Jun 09, 2021 - 06:30 PM It comes as no surprise to readers that dozens of Baltimore City businesses, located in the Inner Harbor, in a stretch called Fells Point, are threatening the new city government, run by Mayor Brandon Scott, with not paying their taxes because they re fed up and frustrated with the outburst of violence.  In a letter titled  Letter to City Leaders From Fells Point Business Leaders,  addressed to Mayor Brandon Scott, Council President Nick Mosby, Councilman Zeke Cohen, Madam State s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, and Commissioner Michael Harrison, the 37 restaurants and small businesses are threatening to stop paying city taxes and other fees until basic and essential municipal services are restored.

Daniela battled excruciating mental health episodes and fought as hard as she could with her addiction. Growing up in Watertown, Daniela was a graduate of Watertown High School and worked at Fino Wood Fired Pizza. From a young age, Daniela enjoyed gymnastics, karate, cheerleading, numerous activities of the performing arts and was a talented singer and artist. At just 5 years of age, she was crowned “Little Miss Watertown” and at the age of 6, one of Daniela’s greatest accomplishments was winning the Connecticut Talent Competition; later being invited to perform in the Miss Connecticut Gala.

Print Kim Dacey, WBAL-TV 11 Restaurants have been hit especially hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, but some residents in Canton and Fells Point are coming together to support them this holiday season. Restaurants in Baltimore City are again closed to indoor and outdoor dining by executive order. It took us a couple months to get everything back from the first shutdown as far as just getting inventory, getting staff back, you know, rebranding, pivoting a hundred thousand times. And then, right when we were starting to get into the flow of everything, we got another shutdown and it was just so unexpected, sad Erica Russo, owner of The Point in Fells Point.
