POLAND Poland rallied back from a 14-point second-half deficit and hung with Fryeburg through three overtimes until the Raiders pushed past the Knights for a 73-65 boys basketball victory Monday.
Poland senior Isaiah Hill made two free throws in the final 40 seconds to tie the game and force overtime. The Knights held a late lead in the first overtime, but a free throw by Fryeburg Academy’s Eli Mahan sent the game to a second overtime. In the third overtime, Will Hallam scored seven points and the Raiders outscored the Knights 16-8 to earn the victory.
