Pakistan on Tuesday sent 196 medical professionals to Kuwait in a bid to help the country battle the coronavirus pandemic, Kuwait News Agency reported.
The new batch of medical professionals includes 41 doctors, 131 nurses, and 24 technicians, the agency said, adding that they were sent to Kuwait under an agreement between the two countries to combat COVID-19.

In an attempt to help Kuwait fight the coronavirus pandemic, Pakistan has sent nearly 200 medical workers, Kuwait News Agency reported Tuesday.
The new batch of 196 medical professionals includes 41 doctors, 131 nurses, and 24 technicians, the agency said, adding that they were sent to Kuwait under an agreement between the two countries to combat COVID-19.
Pakistan and Kuwait have signed a bilateral cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the recruitment of healthcare experts from Pakistan, which was signed on July 4, 2020, at the Ministry of Health office in Kuwait.

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said he has not attended any meetings called by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s aide, Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari.
Zulfi Bukhari is currently appointed special assistant to the PM on overseas Pakistanis and human resource development.
“He is a special assistant. We are elected lawmakers. He cannot chair our meetings,” said the provincial minister, while addressing a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday. “He will tell me what the rights of workers are?”
