Sein Ruhestand, den der militante Filmemacher mit Ende 70 angekündigt hatte, ist bis auf Weiteres verschoben. Vielleicht auch, weil die Tories die britische Regierung bilden. Die Konservativen sind seit jeher das erklärte Feindbild des ewigen Sozialisten Loach, der jetzt 85 Jahre alt wird.
