Man hands clerk note, steals cash from Council Bluffs gas station © None Council Bluffs gas station robbery Council Bluffs police are searching for a man who stole money from a Casey s General Store early Friday morning. In a news release, police said the man walked into the store near 23rd Avenue and the South Expressway around 2:15 a.m. That man handed the clerk a note asking for cash from the drawer. Police said the man left after getting some money. The man was described as wearing a black coat, red hooded sweatshirt, a white face mask and white gloves. Anyone with information that could help police make an arrest in the case is asked to call Council Bluffs Crime Stoppers at 712-328-STOP (7867).
