Corus greenlights Toopy and Binoo movie
A 2D-animated feature film from Echo Media featuring the animated cat-and-mouse duo will hit theaters in 2022 and then debut on Treehouse.

Famous TV cat-and-mouse team Toopy and Binoo are heading to the big screen with Canada’s Corus Entertainment.
Montreal’s Echo Media is producing an 80-minute, 2D-animated comedy-adventure in association with Corus.
Toopy and Binoo The Movie (pictured) will hit theaters sometime in 2022, before airing on Corus-owned kidsnet Treehouse.
Based on Dominique Jolin’s children’s book series of the same name,
Toopy and Binoo first aired on Treehouse (in English) and Télé-Québec (in French) in the early 2000s. The IP was also adapted into a live stage show and a series of digital apps.

Youth Media Alliance (YMA) has announced the nominees for its Awards of Excellence, with the winners set to be revealed during the virtual gala on May 26, streamed live from Toronto.
