KANSAS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) A man was found dead around 6:30 p.m. Friday night in Kansas, Ill., after being ran over by a dump truck being used to fill a pool.
Benjamin Boddy, 20, of Kansas, and another man were using a 1993 Ford dump truck to help a friend fill a swimming pool when the incident occurred, according to a news release from Edgar County Coroner Scott Barrett. While emptying a water tank being carried by the dump truck, Boddy allegedly walked away from the area and the man with him assumed he just went for a walk around the property.
