The new milk bottles are easier to recycle, and they can be used as bottles themselves for a longer period, Gigi Thomas, Managing Director, Sapins Farm Products said.
The company comes with the new packaging considering its convenience to handle and store while ensuring very less product wastage. The new stock-keeping unit [SKU] is available in all major retail stores throughout the state through Reliance outlets and JioMart.com.

A mono-material HDPE tube with cap manufactured by Albéa has gained approval from RecyClass, proving its compatibility with the HDPE bottle-recycling stream.
RecyClass is a cross-industry initiative that works to advance plastics packaging recyclability in Europe through Design for Recycling guidelines.
“This announcement is another major step on our journey towards 100 per cent recyclable tubes,” said Gilles Swyngedauw, vice president for corporate social responsibility and innovation at Albéa. “Last year our Greenleaf 2 laminate tube technology was recognised by both Association of Plastic Recyclers in the US and RecyClass in Europe. Now is the turn of our extruded plastics tubes. This will allow consumers to recycle the whole tube, without wondering what to do with the cap. That’s why, in addition to our extruded plastics tube, we hope to have this tube+cap recognised by the APR soon.”
