She was a loving, kind, fun, smart, sweet and gracious wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Frances attended Sulphur Springs High School and East Texas State University. She worked as a production seamstress at H.D. Lee Company, exceeding the standard on the production line. She served as the Union Organizer and Secretary for the United Garment Workers of America.
Shortly after her eldest child came along, she devoted her time and energy to being an excellent wife and mother. Taking care of her children, and many others who were not her own, was at the heart of everything she did.
