Xi Jinping: China s enemies will have heads cracked and bleeding

Print this article China’s enemies will “have their heads cracked and bleeding” in any future conflict, the communist regime’s chief vowed during a speech marking the centenary of the Chinese Communist Party. “We will never allow any foreign force to bully, oppress, or subjugate us,” Chinese President Xi Jinping said, according to the English text of his speech. “Anyone who would attempt to do so will find themselves on a collision course with a great wall of steel forged by over 1.4 billion Chinese people.” Xi ad-libbed the violent imagery, according to the South China Morning Post, which translated the lines as delivered in Chinese. And, in the spoken and written version, Xi paired that truculent rhetoric with a pledge to gain control of Taiwan, the last refuge of the government overthrown when the Chinese Communist Party took power in 1949 and a strategic chokepoint for China and U.S. allies in the region.

Chinese diplomats ask US Embassy to do meaningful things rather than spread lies on Xinjiang

CHINA / DIPLOMACY By Global Times Published: Dec 28, 2020 07:58 PM Foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian is making remarks at a routine press briefing on July 8. Photo: Ministry of Foreign Affairs The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday slammed the US diplomatic organs which, led by a few anti-China politicians, created rumors out of nothing and kept spreading fake news regarding Xinjiang. The remarks made by ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian were in response to a question about the US Embassy to China re-tweeting the US State Department s attacks on China s Xinjiang policy, with claims that 1 million Uygurs were detained in re-education camps. Officials from Northwest China s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, religious groups, graduates from vocational education and training centers and Xinjiang residents who work outside the region attended a press conference last week, introducing the real situation of Xinjiang based on their own experiences.
