Managing water resources will become increasingly important for human civilization and agriculture. I expect mega droughts to become very regular events throughout the world. This will decimate many, if not most, ecosystems, particularly rainforests. It only takes one mega drought to completely destroy an ecosystem and cause irreversible damage. Most people don t see this coming.
