Night work on the Jack Fire on July 17, 2021. Credit Inciweb  Bernie Pineda is a public information officer for the Jack Fire.  He said when the new team takes over, the current crews will get a couple days off and then it’s back to work on another fire. “We have nine teams and currently we have all nine of them out,” Pineda said. “There is no teams available. So it’s going to be a busy, long season.” Highway 138 has reopened in the fire area with a slower speed limit of 45 miles per hour.
