SHELBY TOWNSHIP Utica completed the installation of a new radio communications tower Feb. 24 to replace the old radio tower that had been damaged by a storm last year.
The new communications tower is located at the Police Department and City Hall where the old radio tower is still located. The tower services the Utica Police Department and Utica Fire Department during emergencies.

USA - Last November, rock band Dance Gavin Dance performed their new album
Tree City Sessions 2 in its entirety on Tower Bridge in Sacramento, California, a setting that provided a visually stunning framework for the introduction of their latest music. The PPV concert, executive produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, was lit by Justin Wade and Sacramento Production & Lighting (SPL) using a rig of Elation Professional luminaires. Formed in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance hail from Sacramento and are local favourites. Last February, the band had just started a tour to promote a new album release when the shutdown hit. Tour manager Travis Wade and Dion Cook of SPL decided to see if there was a market for pay-per-view streaming of the band, a project that culminated in a successful July PPV concert from a recording studio set up in a converted space in SPL’s warehouse.
New sanctuary at Life Baptist Church in Las Vegas opens with state-of-the-art Elation lighting system USA – Founded in 2003, Life Baptist Church in Las Vegas is an active ministry that until recently was holding five services each weekend in order to accommodate its growing congregation. After seven years in a building that only held 250, the church opened a new 700-seat sanctuary in December that features a modern Elation lighting system designed by Las Vegas-based consulting and contracting firm Embassy Services.
Hired by project architect IZ Design, Embassy Services, which specialises in permanently installed production systems, served as consultant of record for the design of all the low-voltage systems in the new building (audio, video, lighting, control, and comms) as well as acoustics.
