Make-A-Wish recipient celebrates one-year anniversary of his wish on World Wish Day

A 17-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient celebrated the one-year anniversary of his wish on World Wish Day.  In 2020, Sam Neale s wish was to give back to health care workers on the front lines of the pandemic, so he received $50,000 in donations to put together care packages for the workers at Presbyterian Hospital.  Sam was able to create around 200 kits total. Argen Marie Duncan photo. A year ago, an area teenager received his wish to give back to health-care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and he gave back again last week. Thursday, on the anniversary of that wish granted by Make-A-Wish New Mexico, Albuquerque cancer survivor Sam Neale, now 18, served coffee and doughnuts to 250 employees at each of the three hospitals where he dropped off decontamination kits last year. Updated: 11:22 PM EDT April 29, 2021 CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. Gift CPAs of Mechanicsburg and Lancaster got pies to face today live on social media, in honor of World Wish Day on April 29. Employees have been raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation throughout tax season. On Thursday, the people who raised the most money from each team, took pies to the face, live on social media. The Make-A-Wish Foundation creates life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. More than 7,150 wishes were granted by Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware, & Susquehanna Valley since 1986.  In total, Gift CPAs raised more than $6,200. Related Articles
