Afghans Do Not Want To Go Back To ‘The Dark Days’: Abdullah Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah at a ceremony in Kabul on Sunday said an absolute majority of Afghans are against stepping back to the dark days in which their rights were violated and that he sees the capacity among the new generation of the country to build a prosperous and stable Afghanistan.   He raised the issue of peace at a gathering on World Tuberculosis Day.  “The future of Afghanistan is belonged to the people of Afghanistan and an absolute majority of Afghans are in favor of peace in Afghanistan,” he reiterated. “Also I believe that an absolute majority of Afghans do not want to go back to the dark days in which human rights are violated, women’s and children’s rights are violated.”
