Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, Mar 3 (Prensa Latina) The Office of City Curator of Trinidad and Valle de los Ingenios continues to focus on the preservation of the heritage built in this southern Cuban colonial town.
Rehabilitation projects of neighborhoods, public spaces and high-value buildings, together with the strategy of contributing to the economic development of the territory through preservation, are among its objectives, said Master Duznel Zerquera. Safeguarding the constructive typology of the city and ensuring that its inhabitants live in harmony with these attributes is one of the greatest challenges, said Zerquera, who is in charge of this office, created on February 28, 1997.
