Knoxville family grieves after single vehicle car crash on Buffat Mill

Knoxville News Sentinel If only I could change her diaper or give her one more bath. That is what eats me up. I m just broken, said Amanda White. Those are the regrets of a mother ravaged with grief over the loss of her youngest daughter. She and the toddler s father, Lennox Roper, lost 15-month-old Haizley Roper to injuries from burns she suffered in a single-car crash in northeast Knoxville nearly two months ago. Lennox Roper, who was a passenger in the car with his daughter, pulled her from the car after it went up in flames.  The driver, 25-year-old Daryl Rollins, fled the scene, leaving Roper, his best friend, and Haizley behind.
