LANCASTER – South Glengarry has received six bids to build the municipality’s new $1.3 million public works garage on Airport Road.
Infrastructure General Manager Ewen MacDonald announced the tender results Thursday.
The lowest bid was from Grant Marion Construction of Cornwall with a bid of $1,179,000 while a bid from Rose Mechanical in Long Sault at $1,603,214 was the highest. The other bids were from two firms in Cornwall, one in Russell and one from Illinois (the Illinois bid was not compliant).
