Andrea lived and worked in Longford town some years ago when attached to the Department of Social Welfare. Based in Athlone, where she was raised and attended school, Andrea also has strong Longford roots. Her late grandfather, James Feeney, moved from Longford to Athlone many years ago, serving in the Army. Letterkenny man catches top job with Donegal ETB LETTERKENNY man Andy McGovern has been appointed by Donegal ETB as its new Director of Organisation Support and Development (OSD). Mr McGovern replaced Mr Jim McGlynn who retired at the end of December. He has been working at Letterkenny Institute of Technology as Finance Manager for twenty-two years. A former student of St Eunan’s College Andy attended Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York on a soccer scholarship where he graduated with a degree in public accounting, before going on to qualify as an accountant. He began his career at accounting firm KPMG in Stamford, Connecticut and on his return to Ireland, worked for the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General and the Department of Finance in Dublin.
