To launch its three-year national sponsorship of Football Australia’s “MiniRoos” program, Priceline Pharmacy has launched a campaign via Banter, to celebrate those not just on the field, but the off-the- field stars of the game.
The short film centres on the story of a real-life mum and son (from the Port Melbourne Soccer Club) and the journey they have been on to get to a moment where her son is able to kick the hero goal.
The film then rewinds to tell the story of what goes into scoring that goal, celebrating his mum, and the daily contribution she has made in raising him in a healthy and happy environment.
The Blizzards
The Blizzards are an Irish band from Mullingar in County Westmeath. They were formed by Niall Breslin and Killian Egan (vocals) in late 2004, and also feature Dec Murphy (drums), Justin Ryan, Anthony Doran, Louize Carroll (bass) and Aidan Lynch (keyboards). They have achieved multiple platinum record sales and have won numerous awards.
Their debut single, the self-released First Girl to Leave Town , entered the Irish Singles Chart at number 11 in 2005. The band were then signed to Universal Music Ireland, and soon had two top ten singles in Ireland with Trouble and Fantasy . Their debut album,
A Public Display of Affection, was released in October 2006. The album achieved platinum status in Ireland, with sales of 15,000.
Shane Lee was confident of getting an offer for his top choice of Commerce in UCD, although with a minimum of 520 points needed in CAO Round One in 2020, he had set himself a tall order.

While he admits to being “a little bit worried” when the exams were cancelled, he also trusted his teachers “to be fair”. In the event, none of the teachers marks were altered in the calculated grades process and he came out with 554 points.
