The Liberty women s tennis team will compete in three matches this week, with one non-conference bout and its first two ASUN Conference matches of the spring. Liberty (10-2) and Charlotte (13-4) will face each other, Wednesday at noon at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex in Charlotte, N.C. The Lady Flames will then open ASUN play at North Alabama (4-8) on Friday morning. Match time is set for 11 a.m. Eastern (10 a.m. Central) at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts in Florence, Ala. Liberty will close out the weekend with another conference match in Nashville, Tenn. The Lady Flames and Lipscomb Bisons (5-6) will play at 11 a.m. Eastern (10 a.m. Central) at the Huston Marsh Griffith Tennis Center. ....

The 15-point margin is the smallest the Buffs have had all year. “Some really good things tonight, I thought, from our team, lot of things we can build on, and also there’s obviously room for improvement,” head coach Tad Boyle said. “I was very pleased with our play in the first half, except for the first four minutes.
