A new medical clinic in the White Lake area, a potential joint project of Northern Health Centers, Inc. of Lakewood and Langlade Hospital has won an overwhelming endorsement from area residents. A total of 86 percent of residents who returned a mailed survey expressed interest in using the clinic.
Merrill turned a close game into a rout Friday night, as the visiting Blue Jays defeated the Antigo Red Robins boys on the basketball court, 50-34. Andreas Ezer led the Robins with 10 points.

Gasoline prices here jumped by three cents a gallon Thursday and Friday as the holiday travel season kicked into high gear. Local outlets increased their gas prices to $1.13 per gallon for regular unleaded self service. Prices for full service gas is slightly higher.
