With Media Blasters having re-licensed the
Phoenix anime recently and bringing out a new Perfect Collection Blu-ray edition of it, it’s now time to start expanding the streaming availability for the show. Tubi has added the show to their service with it now available in its original Japanese language with English subtitles here.

The series was directed by Ryousuke Takahashi with character designs by Akio Sugino, Hiroshi Uchida, Kyuma Oshita, and Masayoshi Nishida. With Tezuka Productions handling the animation, the main cast featured Keiko Takeshita as Hi no Tori. The English dub was directed by Jay Snyder for the first four episodes while Michael Sinterniklaas handled the rest.
