Another starter from the Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 team has landed within the AFC North division. After Mike Hilton’s departure for the Cincinnati Bengals in March, veteran left tackle Alejandro Villanueva has signed a two-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens worth a reported $14 million. This per NFL networks Ian Rappaport.

It appeared the Steelers had limited interest in a return of Villanueva for the 2021 season, particularly at the price he received in Baltimore. Villanueva will turn 33 two weeks into the start of the 2021 season.

The Bears are about to cut veteran left tackle Charles Leno; should the WFT try to sign him?

Ian Rappaport has just reported that the Bears will release longtime left tackle Charles Leno. This appears to be a salary cap driven move, but maybe not.
Leno was ranked #32 in overall blocking grade by PFF in 2020, and #23 in pass blocking.
Washington’s Cornelius Lucas, considered by many to be a journeyman right tackle, graded out 23rd overall and 14th(t) in pass blocking.
Leno was scheduled to make $8.9m in 2021; Lucas is scheduled to collect around $1.6m.

NEW ORLEANS, Lou. (WLOX) - It was no secret the Saints entered this off-season in a salary cap nightmare. Over the last few days, Mickey Loomis and company have been busy re-structuring and releasing expensive contracts to cut into that deficit. On Wednesday, the process intensified.
After just one season each in New Orleans, Emmanuel Sanders’ and also reportedly Kwon Alexander’s time in the black and gold have come to an end. The team released Sanders, confirmed by his personal Instagram page, after a very productive year, hauling in 61 catches for 726 yards and five touchdowns - all good for second highest on the team.
