FORMER Mumbo Jumbo and Jimmy’s Big Fish frontman Simon Holmes has used time in lockdown to reflect and develop new music under the name December62. Produced by English musician, composer and songwriter, Nick Coler, Simon has produced a slew of new material, with the first track released earlier this month. Nick, an award-winning songwriter, musician and producer, has played on hit songs for acts ranging from Goldie, KLF, and Alice Cooper to Girls Aloud, Sugababes, and Gabriella Cilmi. The first of the songs, If I Can t Have You, was released on Friday May 7, and made available on all streaming platforms.

Level 42 Inspired Isle Of Wight Musician To Release New Tracks

An Isle of Wight musician - inspired by Level 42 star, Mark King - has teamed up with a leading producer to record and release a number of new tracks.
Ex- Mumbo Jumbo and Jimmy’s Big Fish frontman Simon Holmes has used time in lockdown to reflect and develop some melodic new songs, produced by English musician, composer and songwriter, Nick Coler.
Simon, now being known by the name December 62, first found the love for music back at Solent Middle School. He asked for a drum kit for Christmas and spent a lot of time with his brother in the family home making up songs and playing on his Dad’s records on his stereo.
PLANS to replace a phone mast have led to residents raising concerns about the possible impact on their health. Telefonica, which owns O2, has submitted an application to remove a 23-metre mast in Eynsham and replace it with a 20-metre one, together with associated antennas, radio equipment cabinets and ancillary development works. Documents say this will provide improved Vodafone and new Telefonica services to the area, and could eventually lead to 5G services. However, locals have made their voices heard by objecting to the proposals in Witney Road. Ian Jackman said: “It is not right that this should be anywhere near residential homes, it should be sited out in fields and open spaces. We have a continuous humming all day and all night.”
