Apr. 21 Two men were ambushed in a shooting Tuesday evening in central Fresno, police said.
The shooting happened at around 7:39 p.m., in the 300 block of East Fedora Avenue, near North Palm Avenue when police received an 18-round Shotspotter activation.
Fresno Police Lt. Israel Reyes said they received at least 21 calls from residents that two victims in the corner block of East Fedora. Officers arrived and found a 30-year-old man and 26-year-old man.
Reyes said the two victims pulled up to the residence on East Fedora and were getting out of the vehicle when two suspects walked up and fired numerous rounds into the vehicle.

Jan. 24 A couple traveling in southwest Fresno was possibly caught in a middle of gunfire Saturday evening, police said. According to Fresno Police Lt. Israel Reyes, officers were alerted by the Shotspotter surveillance system to 12 rounds of gunfire around 7 p.m. at Jensen and Clara avenues. Reyes said officers located shell casings on the roadway there. The couple called police at 7:10 p.m. .

Dec. 24 A 37-year-old man died after being shot Wednesday night in central Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. at an apartment complex at West Ashlan and North Fruit avenues, police spokesman Lt. Israel Reyes said.
The man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died, Reyes said.
Another shooting victim was dropped off at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Reyes said. It is unknown if his wounds were related to the shooting at the apartment.
