+ January 27, 2021 LEO Rey Yanson, Olivia V. Yanson, Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas are now in full control of the Bacolod City-based Yanson Group of Bus Companies which is considered to have the largest transport fleet in the country.
The group set sights on navigating the bus business amid the challenges of the pandemic after Leo Rey was re-elected chairman and president of YGBC s key subsidiaries in a series of stockholders meetings from December 5, 2020, to January 18, 2021. Olivia was reelected as corporate secretary and treasurer of the same transport companies.
“Despite the challenges faced in 2020, the business remains strong and resilient. It continues to be steadfast in its goal to serve the Filipino people,” said Leo Rey.
January 20, 2021 THE board of directors of Bachelor Express Inc. has re-elected Leo Rey Yanson as the chairman and president of the company during their annual stockholder s meeting on January 17.
The directors also re-appointed Olivia Yanson as the company s corporate secretary and treasurer.
Aside from the two Yansons, the board of the company for year 2021 to 2022 who were elected by the shareholders were Ginnette Dumancas, Charles Dumancas, Rey Ardo, Arvin John Villaruel, Anita Chua, Daniel Nicolas Golez, Hernan Omecillo, Danny Lorenton, and Alfredo Ligo Jr.
In a press statement, the company said that despite the proper and timely notice, stockholders Roy Yanson, Ricardo Yanson Jr., and Ma. Lourdes Celina Lopez were absent.

+ January 19, 2021 THE four siblings of the Yanson family known as the Y4 said they retained their posts after the shareholders meeting of another transport company owned by the family.
In a press statement, lawyer Carlo Joaquin Narvasa confirmed that Bachelor Express Inc. held its annual shareholders on January 12, 2021 at Seda Centrio Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City and that he was proxy for Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson Lopez, its president and chairman of the Board of Directors.
It was attended by stockholders representing 99.99 percent of the outstanding capital stock of the corporation, Narvasa said.
Roy V. Yanson, Emily V. Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Lopez, Ricardo V. Yanson Jr., Jerina Louise Ramos and Matthew Agustin Y. Lopez were elected by the shareholders as new members of the Board of Directors for the Year of the Corporation for 2021-2022.
