PIP as a payment from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), could therefore provide assistance to those with arthritis or a range of other conditions.
Arthritis is common within the UK, and is a condition which causes pain and inflammation in the joints.
The NHS estimates more than 10 million people currently have arthritis or other similar joint conditions, across the country.
Of these, then, many could stand to benefit from a PIP payments to assist them with their day-to-day lives.

PIP is usually only available to people who have not reached State Pension age, and since arthritis is often associated with older people, some may feel they will not be able to claim.
Regardless, recipients of PIP will wish to receive the full amount to which they are entitled, and additional payments will be welcomed.
Those claiming PIP will be used to receiving payments from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), however, some could receive an additional sum from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
This payment could be worth up to £4,600 - significantly assisting those with certain conditions.
The payment is made to those currently claiming PIP, and who are able to work.
