Pequot Lakes High School held a rare early graduation for one of its students Thursday, April 1, so he could head to basic training while the rest of his classmates finish their final year.
Chase Decker begins training with the Army National Guard on April 13. When the school administration learned of his upcoming training, they pulled out all the stops to allow him to graduate early.

ILLINOIS (WFIE) - On Sunday, Illinois health officials reported 1,484 new coronavirus and 19 more deaths.
The state has now had 1,209,331 total cases and 20,943 total deaths.
Ferrell Hospital is hosting a community vaccine clinic with the Army National Guard on Monday, March 15, at the White County Fairgrounds Floral Hall, 201 Fairground Road in Carmi. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 618-297-9677.
