Homegrown police general donates lot for EOD-K9 camp

Published June 30, 2021, 8:30 AM DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to erect a new camp to specifically to cater for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group (EOD-K9) of the Philippine National Police in a donated lot Barangay Capantolan, Sual town. The one-hectare lot was donated by homegrown Police Brigadier General Harris Fama, Deputy Director of the PNP Directorate for Police Community Relations. Fama is an alumnus of the Dagupan City National High School Batch 1983. He is also a resident of Dagupan City. On Wednesday, June 30, Fama, as the donor, is set to sign the deed with PNP Chief Guillerimo Eleazar, at the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO).

(Contributed photo) + May 20, 2021 THE Philippine National Police (PNP) Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) is crafting guidelines to be followed by police personnel in engaging with community pantry organizers to avoid any further misconceptions and misunderstanding. PNP Chief General Guillermo Eleazar said under the guidelines, police presence in the vicinity of community pantries should not be to conduct profiling of organizers, but to maintain peace and order and ensure that minimum public health safety standards are strictly observed.

Dionardo Bernardo Carlos was designated as the number four man of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in a major revamp that was triggered by the retirement of Gen. Debold Sinas. Carlos assumed the position of the Chief Directorial Staff, which is equivalent to the position of Chief Operations Officer in private companies. A member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1988, Carlos got the position as he was the first in line in order of seniority in the PNP. He served as a PNP spokesman in 2017 before he was named as the director of the Aviation Security Group. He also served as the director of the Directorate for Information and Communications Technology (DICTM) and the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) before he was designated as the director of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations- Visayas where he earned his third star.
