HM The Sultan exchanges Eid Al Fitr greetings with King of Jordan| Times of Oman

By: ONA Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik today exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr by phone with King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. During the phone call, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to King Abdullah, praying to the Almighty Allah for the return of this and similar occasions on him and the brotherly people of Jordan at a time his country has achieved further progress and prosperity.  On his turn, the Jordanian Monarch reciprocated His Majesty the Sultan’s cordial sentiments. He expressed his sincere wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan. He also prayed to the Almighty Allah to bring about further accomplishments for the people of Oman under His Majesty’s wise leadership.

HH the Amir exchanges Eid greetings with leaders of Arab countries

On the advent of the blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani exchanged greetings and blessings with several leaders of Arab countries. HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HE Dr Barham Salih, President of the Republic of Iraq, HE Qais Said, President of the Republic of Tunisia, and HE President Abdel Majid Tebboune, President of the People s Democratic Republic of Algeria, were among the leaders HH the Amir greeted via telephone calls yesterday. HH the Amir also exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of Saudi Arabia, President of Palestine and President of Turkey.

Failed coup in Jordan: Pakistan stands with King Abdullah

Top Story April 6, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Lending support to Jordan’s King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussain, Pakistan Monday said it stood in solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom and its King. This was Islamabad’s first official reaction after reports about a failed coup against the Jordanian monarch surfaced in the media. “Pakistan is following the situation in Jordan. We stand in solidarity with King Abdullah II Ibn Hussain. Pakistan fully supports the rights of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty,“ said the Foreign Office. Earlier, the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) of which Pakistan is a member had also announced that it fully supported all measures taken by King Abdullah II to maintain security, stability in his country.
