Comfort Café is hosting five-course dinners to help offset the costs of a flood that destroyed the original Bandera location.
A month before the July 5 flood, Comfort Café opened an extension at Los Patios. Now, the original San Antonio location of the restaurant is temporarily closed after being inundated by rain water and a series of dinners will be hosted at Los Patios to help make up for the loss of income.

Dozens of cattle are dead after a double-decker livestock trailer overturned in southwest Fort Worth Sunday afternoon, officials say.
The crash happened before 1 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate Loop 820 at Team Ranch Road, which is just north of U.S. Highway 377, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

The fire department said, a large majority of the nearly 80 head of cattle on the trailer died.

One man was hospitalized after he was shot twice outside a QuikTrip in east Fort Worth Sunday afternoon, police say.
The shooting happened at about 2:26 p.m. in the 6600 block of Brentwood Stair Road, Fort Worth police said. The location is east of Interstate Loop 820 and south of Interstate 30.
Police said it appeared to be possible that an argument between two men escalated to a shooting.
