Otero Artspace to open June 18 with open house and art exhibit
After more than a year of planning, Otero Artspace was to open in Spring 2020.
The opening was delayed as New Mexico was struck by the coronavirus pandemic and public health mandates closed businesses deemed non-essential. It just took the wind out of our sails, you know, all the momentum, Chris Jones of Otero Arts, Inc. said.
Otero Artspace was scheduled to hold an open house and art exhibit from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on July 18. It ll just be an easel show because there s a lot of hardware we don t have yet, Jones said.
