Globo’s Sweet Diva & Hidden Truths Bowing in Chile
Hidden Truths are set to make their premieres in Chile on Mega Channel.
Sweet Diva tells the story of Maria da Paz, a dedicated pastry chef who becomes a rich businesswoman 20 years after a tragedy on her wedding day. Though the marriage ends in separation, Maria and Amadeu have a daughter together, Jô, who seeks power and despises his mother’s humble origins. She ultimately plots to steal her mother’s fortune with the help of the charming Regis.
Sweet Diva will debut on Mega on March 18.
Currently airing on TV3 in Latvia, the telenovela has also landed in Uruguay (Teledoce), Bolivia (Red Uno), Mexico (Imagen TV), Puerto Rico (Univision) and Israel (Viva).

The telenovela form continues to evolve and remains a bastion of Latin American cultural exports, drawing sales for Lat Am companies from broadcasters around the world while fending off stiff competition from a host of other countries and regions.
