ēCO Credit Union and the ēCO Credit Union Foundation Award Scholarships
ēCO and the ēCO Credit Union Foundation presented college scholarships totaling $7,500.
BIRMINGHAM, AL (April 6, 2021)
ēCO Credit Union and the ēCO Credit Union Foundation both strongly believe in the importance of education. In March of 2021, ēCO Credit Union awarded two $2,500 A.L. Bratcher Scholarships, while the ēCO Credit Union Foundation awarded one $2,500 ēCO Credit Union Foundation Scholarship.
The A.L. Bratcher Scholarship has been awarded to high school seniors since 2011. The 2021-2022 A.L. Bratcher Scholarship recipients are Yasmin Bolden and Josie McGuire. Bolden is a senior at Shades Valley High School. In addition to excelling academically, she is also involved in her church youth group, participates in Visual Ensemble, Health Occupations Students of America, and Future Business Leaders of America, and has a part-time job. She plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham
