Toy News of the Week: Hot Toys Dark Trooper, Lego Blacksmith

As Hollywood anti-heroes go, they don’t get more surly than Jaws’ Sam Quint, a WWII veteran obsessed with hunting sharks who was brought to the screen by Robert Shaw. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t quite deliver on his promise of ridding Amity Island of its great white shark problem, but Quint still remains a character worthy of immortalization in an 8-inch figure. NECA has released a handful of new shots of the figure ahead of its arrival in March that will include his full outfit, a harpoon gun, a rifle, a machete, a baseball bat, and a can of beer. There’s no pricing info yet, but NECA has also teased that Bruce the Shark will also be joining Quint later this year, although a planned Chief Martin Brody figure has been officially cancelled.

LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith, annunciato ufficialmente il set 21325 del fabbro medievale

1 st February 2021: LEGO Ideas has taken a leaf out of the history books with the design of its latest set, a charming Medieval Blacksmith’s house. The new set is based on an original design by an avid LEGO builder, which achieved over 10,000 votes from LEGO fans worldwide – giving it the green light to go into production. LEGO superfan Clemens Fiedler originally submitted the concept to LEGO Ideas; a LEGO initiative that takes new ideas that have been imagined and voted for by fans and turns them into reality. The LEGO Ideas® Medieval Blacksmith set harks back to a time when cottage industries and artisans were the cornerstone of society and was brought to life by LEGO designers Wes Talbott and Austin Carlson.
