Migrants earn nearly 13% on average less than national workers in high-income countries. However, in low- and middle-income countries, the situation is reversed with migrant workers earning about 17.3% more per hour than non-migrant workers, the International Labour Organisation said, adding the Covid crisis may widen the labour market differences between migrant workers and nationals.
