The maps show the south of England is expected to get the worst of the snow, with temperatures expected to plunge to lows of -3C across huge swathes of the country.

The latest weather charts pinpoint where exactly in the UK snow is likely to fall, with the worst of the wintry conditions expected overnight and early tomorrow morning.
