The people of Ovoko Community, in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State have come hard on a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Patrick Asadu over the rumoured attack on former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu in the area.
There were reports, (not by DAILY POST) that Ekweremadu was chased away during the kick-off of the finals of a football tournament in the community.
Asadu, who is representing Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South in the Green Chamber, is from Ovoko Community.
In a press statement made available to DAILY POST, the community, under the aegis of Ovoko Football Association, knocked the Reps member for allegedly sending thugs to disrupt their event.

Asadu is the lawmaker representing Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South in the House of Representatives.
The leaders from the area made their feelings known during the commissioning of some road projects attracted by the lawmaker, as well as the distribution of some empowerment and Christmas gift items to the constituents.
DAILY POST reports that Governor Ugwuanyi commissioned some of the projects before his entourage arrived at the Adada House, Nsukka, venue of the event.
Speaking, a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State, Engr. Vita Abba said he was impressed with the cordial relationship between Governor Ugwuanyi and Asadu.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State will on 20th of December, 2020, be at the Nsukka/Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency, to commission a list of projects.
The projects were attracted by Rt. Hon. Dr. Patrick Asadu, who is the member representing the said constituency.
The said projects to be commissioned by the Governor include the Agbamere Road in Eha Alumona, (Nsukka Local Government Area) the Inland Road phase 1 of Ibagwa-Aka (Igbo-Eze South LGA).
Governor Ugwuanyi will also inspect the ongoing construction of Umugbabe to Uhunowerre Road project (Igbo-Eze South LGA) and then lay a foundation stone for the construction of Nru Road, in the Nsukka Local Government Area of the State.

The Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, will on the 20th of December, 2020, commission development projects across Nsukka/Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency in the state.
Vanguard gathered that the projects were attracted by the federal lawmaker representing the constituency in the House of the Representatives, Pat Asadu.
The governor will equally flags-off the distribution of empowerment items to the constituents.
The projects to be commissioned by the governor according to a press release by Asadu includes the Agbamere Road in Eha Alumona, Nsukka Local Government Area; the inland Road phase 1 of Ibagwa-Aka at Igbo-Eze South Council Area; inspection of the ongoing construction of Umugbabe Uhunowerre Road project, also in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.
