Podcast Day 24 to bring live event to Sydney
The 24-hour global podcasting event, ‘Podcast Day’, will now be a live event in Sydney.
The event includes chats from podcasting personalities and executives, as well as a late afternoon industry upfronts and networking drinks.
It is set to take place on June 7 in Sydney, with both in-person and virtual tickets available.
The upfronts will act as a showcase for podcast networks to talk about their upcoming shows, activities and special projects to an audience of advertising agency guests. Agency attendees can attend for free by registering at this link.

Westpac and Mamamia have partnered to launch a podcast series for women’s finance, called What The Finance.

Leading Australian podcaster, Mamamia, has launched its latest bespoke podcast series in partnership with Westpac to help women navigate the financial side of everyday life.
‘What The Finance’ is an eight-episode podcast co-hosted by ex-accountant and financial educator, Melissa Browne, and actress, author and advocate Pallavi Sharda. From Savings and Debt to Housing, Investing and Relationships, the series will assist young women looking to make more informed decisions about their finances.
Previous podcasts in the partnership include ‘Hello Bump,’ a guide to pregnancy and an Australian Podcast Awards winner, and ‘The Split’ for women going through separation and divorce, which won Best Use of Podcast at the International Native Ad Awards.
