Tom chatted about his collection of design work including his own place called The Barn as well as his more recent public project the Hepworth Wakefield Garden. Reflecting on the Hepworth garden Tom says it was important for him to take a non-didactic approach by creating a web which he says as a template allows the individual to have a unique experience of the garden. Tom will be appearing at the Australian Landscape Conference on Sunday March 21 and will be discussing the role large scale garden projects play in the public perception of place.
