RESIDENTS have revealed how they have become ‘trapped’ in their own homes since electrical works began on Blandford Road in Poole. The works mean a three-week closure of Blandford Road between Rigler Road and Ashmore Avenue - something residents say is a ‘nightmare’. Gridlock on the diversion route to Upton led to the whole of Hamworthy being full of traffic during the first day of the works.
