The announcement came from the Holland-based farm Tuesday, March 9.
The restaurant will encompass the former Alpenrose space as well as the corner slot of Eighth Street and Central Avenue in downtown Holland which held SandCastle for Kids for over four decades. We love downtown, said Tom Parker of Bowerman Blueberries. We live in Holland and we re local, and we thought it would be a great way to expand our products and diversify with falling blueberry prices. We thought it was time to branch out and try something new.
The restaurant will focus primarily on breakfast and lunch fare, though menu construction is still underway.
