WILMINGTON Clyde K. “Kendrick” Farmer, 37, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at his residence.
Kendrick was born Jan. 10, 1983, at New Hanover Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, to Clyde Keith Farmer and Lynette Thompson Farmer.
He is survived by his parents; son, Dorian Gray Farmer; former wife, Maria Diaz; sister, Johanna Hill, and her husband, Brad Hill; and niece, Lynette Hill.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Ray Thompson, Wilma Welch Thompson, Allen Houston, Marguerite Hardie Houston, Clyde Grover Farmer and Mary Ellen Farmer.
He graduated from E.A. Laney High School in 2001 as a member of the National Honor Society. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, summa cum laude, with a double major in criminal justice and sociology. He worked for many years at Harris Teeter and later Vocational Rehab of North Carolina. He lived in Wilmington his entire life.
