A handful of flood alerts remain in place after strong winds and high water levels hit parts of the Norfolk and Suffolk coast.
The Environment Agency has said that five flood alerts remain on Tuesday, April 6 with  high water levels expected in Norfolk and Suffolk following the blustery bank holiday weather conditions.

Flooding at South Creake amid Norfolk flood alerts

Flooding is causing problems in parts of Norfolk, with a flood warning and 10 alerts in place amid rainy weather - and the possibility of snow.
Flooding has hit the B1355 at South Creake, with firefighters called to the village at just after 5.45pm on Saturday, February 6.
Two crews from Fakenham spent about an hour pumping water away from the road.
The Environment Agency had issued a flood warning for the RIver Burn in that area, between South Creake and Burnham Thorpe.
The agency said there was a risk of flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas due to continued rain and wet ground conditions. ....

Superintendent Dave Buckley, Norfolk’s county policing commander, said: We experienced heavy rainfall over Christmas which caused widespread flooding in the south Norfolk area.
With fields already water-logged, there is the possibility of back roads flooding, with areas becoming difficult or even impossible to pass.
For the safety of everyone; our communities and our emergency services, which are already stretched with the demands of the coronavirus pandemic, we’d ask people to avoid travelling over the next few days wherever possible.
Any journey we make under current lockdown rules should be for an essential purpose, such as food shopping or caring for a vulnerable friend or relative. ....
