Protesters gather in Orlando in support of Cuban people

ORLANDO Protesters were in downtown Orlando Sunday showing support for the Cuban people as protests have been going on for weeks hoping it will create a change.
Caridad Reyes has family in Cuba. She came out to the rally on Sunday.
She is worried about her family and the people living in Cuba as she said they cannot get basic necessitates. She is hoping a change comes soon.
“First thing they need is freedom, when they have freedom are going to have everything.”
She is very worried about her 82-year-old brother who has diabetes and contracted COVID-19.

Hundreds of natives and supporters of Cuba demonstrated in Orlando Sunday evening to protest food shortages and high prices amid the coronavirus crisis in their homeland.
This comes as thousands of people marched in Havana for arguably the largest anti-government demonstration in decades.
“We are here to support our people in Cuba,” said Nelson Perez of Orlando. “It’s time for our people to be free.”
At the demonstration in Orlando, protesters chanted “Freedom,” “Enough” and “United.” This happened as Cuba is going through its worst economic crisis in decades, along with a resurgence of coronavirus cases, the Associated Press reports.
Souhan; T-Wolves Winning While Others are Tanking [PODCAST]
The Timberwolves rolled to a 128-96 win over the Orlando Magic in Orlando Sunday night to improve to 21-47 this season. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today. He says the Wolves, unlike many other teams with a similar win/loss record, are trying to win and gain some momentum for the 2021-2022 season. Jim says the Wolves roster and talent is just too much for what Orlando is throwing out there right now. Souhan says it s good to see Karl-Anthony Towns and D Angelo Russell playing well together but little else about blowout games like last night s say much about this team.
Edgewater High School sophomore Antre’vus Cantlow, 16, was shot and killed in Orlando over the weekend, and his family and investigators are still searching for answers in his death.
