Sonoma, Calif. – Bartholomew Estate Winery, producer of estate wines from the birthplace of California viticulture located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, announced today that Keith LaVine has joined the team as General Manager.
“Keith unites his passion for the wine business with the business of wine. We are thrilled to have him lead our team in delivering a memorable experience, with remarkable wines from this truly historic property,” said Anna Pope, Trustee of Bartholomew Park and Bartholomew Estate Winery Co-Owner.
LaVine comes to Bartholomew Estate most recently from Rutherford Wine Company, where he was the General Manager of their Domestic Operations. Prior to Rutherford Wine Company, Keith has been in leadership roles with Artesa Winery in Napa, Lynmar Estate and Sonoma Cutrer Vineyards in Sonoma.

A compact, smart, electric tractor has been on the wish list of sustainably-minded winegrowers the world over. With no significant advances in tractor technology for more than a decade, the arrival of the Monarch tractor represents the missing link needed to fast track the integration of precision agriculture and address the growing labor challenges confronting the wine industry.
After spending five long years in development at Motivo Engineering and almost two years in trials in Northern California, the Monarch electric tractor (e-tractor) which takes its name from Carlo Mondavi’s sustainability initiative the Monarch Challenge, made a quiet debut at the Unified Symposium in early 2020.
