Arklow CBS was a hive of activity recently as students held their Christmas fair and raised €700 for a local cause.
The event gave students an opportunity to showcase and sell some of the new products and services they had developed as part of the Student Enterprise Programme.
The fifth year Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) students were responsible for the running of the trade fair, creating a professional and fun-packed day.
While busy preparing for the Christmas Fair, the LCVP students decided to raise money for Arklow Cancer Support.
Fifth year student Fionn Dalton said, Unfortunately, many students within the school have been affected directly by cancer and, with almost everyone knowing someone close or a neighbour who has been struck with cancer, this was the first choice for us.
