Orchestra Kentucky presents the Music of Queen

WNKY 40 News May 24, 2021 BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Saturday, July 17, Jeff Reed and Orchestra Kentucky will welcome Windborne Music – North America’s foremost producer of symphonic rock shows – for an evening of Queen’s greatest hits. Led by Las Vegas headliner Brody Dolyniuk, whose voice is featured on video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, “Music of Queen” features timeless songs including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You. Single tickets will be available online only at www.orchestrakentucky.com on Monday, May 31. As the new executive director of Muncie Symphony Orchestra, Watkins plans to do just that: bring the community together through music, according to a release. “There’s something about the beauty and the truth in music; when it comes together, it creates something very powerful,” Watkins said in the release. “Music has the power to unify, it really does. It goes straight to the heart; people feel it, and they’re a part of it. When people listen to music, they don’t look at skin color or demographic background; they are looking at how they feel in the moment with other people around them; they are together for it. I want to use music to unify our community.”
