FORT SMITH Attendees at this weekend s Peacemaker Festival face the same covid risks as people at any other social gathering held at this time, according to an area health official.
ABC agents involved in gambling raid
Four out of nine businesses in the March 3rd raid had liquor licenses.

According to Scott Hardin spokesperson for the ABC they played a small but significant role in the raid because 4 out of 9 businesses hit had liquor licenses.
The agents inspected the businesses to see if they were following rules set by the board.
Hardin says that when it comes to liquor and gambling, businesses have to comply with the rules set by ABC and the state of Arkansas.

On January 5th Arkansas lawmakers proposed alcohol delivery by retail liquor permit holders it is proposed as house bill 32 and was co-authored by Sen. Jane English, R-North Little Rock. Alcohol delivery would not be permitted by third party businesses, like Waitr or Grubhub.
